ESMA experts presented the findings from their recent TRV article “Artificial intelligence in EU investment funds: adoption, strategies and portfolio exposures” and take questions from the audience. The article evaluates the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) in the EU investment management industry. First, it studies funds’ adoption of AI tools in the investment process, finding that only few funds appear to use AI-based investment strategies. Then, it examines EU funds' growing portfolio exposure to AI-related companies.
