ESMA is organising its first Data Day on 2 December 2025. This flagship event will spotlight how smarter data use and digitalisation can reduce reporting burdens while maintaining regulatory integrity.
Under the theme “Burden Reduction in the Digitalisation Era”, the Data Day will bring together regulators, market participants, and data experts to explore how simplification and innovation can go hand in hand. The programme will feature sessions on:
- Streamlining compliance and reassessing regulatory requirements
- Leveraging technology for efficient data management
- Future trends and strategic priorities in data usage and governance
Participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with experts and policymakers, exchanging insights and practical recommendations to help shape the future of data-driven regulation across Europe.
