11th Joint ESAs Consumer Protection Day
On 3 October 2024, the three European Supervisory Authorities: the European Banking Authority (EBA), the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) and the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) organised their 11th Consumer Protection Day. The theme of the event was “Empowering EU consumers: fair access to the future of financial services”.
The event was held at the premises of the Central Bank of Hungary (MNB – Magyar Nemzeti Bank), in Budapest, in the context of the Hungarian Presidency of the European Union in the second half of 2024.

- Registration dates: Registration will be closed as soon as all available seats are reserved and no later than 6 September 2024.
- Invitation: The Joint ESAs Consumer Protection Day is a free of charge event and open to the public.
- Costs / Reimbursement: Please note that only consumers representatives who are members of an officially recognised body in their respective EU Member State will be reimbursed. Reimbursement is subject to conditions.
