Procurements

On this page you will find information about procurement procedures of ESMA, as well as instructions for how to participate in them if your company is interested in working with ESMA.

In buying goods and services, ESMA ensures competition according to the rules governing European public bodies.

For further details of the legal basis for ESMA procurement, please see the corresponding articles of the Financial Regulation applicable to the General Budget of the European Communities - Council Regulation (EC, Euratom) No 2018/1046.

Participation in ESMA’s public procurement procedures is open on equal terms to all natural and legal persons coming within the scope of the EU Treaties. Procurement procedures of ESMA are not covered by the WTO Multilateral Government Procurement Agreement (GPA). Tenderers established in third countries (non-EU countries) do not have the right to participate in procurement procedures unless international agreements in the field of public procurement grant them the right to do so. In case there is no such agreement, or the agreement does not apply to the kind of contracts put out to tender, tenderers of third countries are not entitled to participate.
