ESMA published a new supervisory briefing aiming to align practices across the EU member states. The briefing, developed in close cooperation with National Competent Authorities, promotes convergence and prevents regulatory arbitrage, providing concrete guidance about the expectations on applicant Crypto Asset Service Providers, and on NCAs when they are processing the authorisation requests.

ESMA published its Position Paper on “Building more effective and attractive capital markets in the EU”. The Paper includes 20 recommendations to strengthen EU capital markets and address the needs of European citizens and businesses.
