Open hearing on ESMA's draft technical standards under SFTR

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) will hold an open hearing regarding its Consultation on draft technical standards under the Securities Financing Transactions Regulation (SFTR). The hearing will take place on 24 November from 2 - 5pm (CET) at ESMA premises in Paris, France.
The Consultation seeks the views of interested parties on ESMA’s draft technical standards, in particular the ones relating to reporting of SFTs, as well as the ones on collection, aggregation and comparison of SFTs across trade repositories. The consultation period will end on 30 November 2016.
This open hearing will be of interest to all entities concluding SFTs, including CCPs, to agent lenders and tri-party providers, as well as to trade repositories.
