Open Hearing on draft technical standards under the Benchmarks Regulation

The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) will hold an open hearing in the context of its Consultation on draft technical standards under the Benchmarks Regulation. The hearing will take place on 8 November from 14:30 to 17:00 in ESMA premises.
The Consultation seeks the views of interested parties on ESMA’s text of some ten draft technical standards, including the ones on oversight function, code of conduct for contributors and authorisation/registration of administrators. The consultation period will end on 2 December 2016.
This open hearing will be of interest to all administrators of benchmarks and to any investor dealing with financial instruments and financial contracts whose value is determined by a benchmark or with investment funds whose performances are measured by means of a benchmark.
